Spring has officially arrived in East Tennessee, and as the days grow longer, April offers an invitation to step outside and take part in the many events that make this time of year so special. This season always feels like a reset for me. I find so much joy in the return of warmer days, allowing me to open the windows to let in fresh air after a long winter. There’s something about that shift that makes everything feel a little lighter and, and it’s a feeling I look forward to each year.

At VIP Knoxville, this season is one we always anticipate. It marks the return of many of our favorite traditions, and our team is excited to be out and about covering East Tennessee’s favorite spring gatherings. As we move further into this busy season, I want to extend an open invitation to our readers. If there is an event we should attend, a person we should feature or a story that deserves to be told, I would love to hear from you. Some of the most impactful features we’ve published have come directly from reader suggestions, and your insight helps ensure that we are truly representing the full scope of our community. Our goal is to reflect the people, places and experiences that make this area unique. While we’re proud to feature well-known leaders, businesses and organizations, we are equally passionate about uncovering stories that may not always be in the spotlight but are just as meaningful. We believe those stories deserve to be shared.

As you enjoy everything this season has to offer, I hope you’ll take a moment to appreciate the people and experiences that make East Tennessee such a special place to call home. And as always, thank you for being part of the VIP Knoxville community.
